 When Dropbox brought its first IPO, it was valued at $ 12 billion.  Only 11 years before this, its founders were pitching their business ideas to the popular business incubator Y Combinator.  The question that arises here is whether the incubation program contributes to the success of Dropbox?  According to a report by FiveThirtyEight, only 11% of startups from Y Combinator failed.  It is clear that participating in an incubator is the first and most important step to make your startup leap.  In such a situation, it is important to know how to choose the right incubator.  Let us first look at two things in this, firstly what resources and services are available for the development of the startup and secondly how much they will be able to sponsor for the development of the startup.  Apart from these, there are some other facts which also need special attention-

 Curriculum of an incubator often involves difficult training and educational seminars.  You have to consider whether you have the ability to handle these with the regular activities of the business.

 Location

 This is an important fact.  Some incubators suggest relocating the program to a location.  As an entrepreneur you have to assess whether your business will succeed in that location or not.

 Mentors

 First, see how skilled the mentor of the incubator is.  Do they have the necessary experience that will be helpful in taking your startup forward.
