Arts career options after 12th

1. Bachelor of Design (Animation)

After 10+2 in Arts, students have the option of pursuing Bachelor of Design in Animation. If your interest is in creating your own creative, designing and animation, then it can be done. There are many categories available in animation, which you can choose according to your interest and convenience. Such as- 2D / 3D animation, animation film making and web design etc. Apart from animation, students get many options under Bachelor of Design which are better for their future. Such as- fashion design, interior design, communication design, industrial and product design etc. These are options whose demand is increasing. One can apply for these courses through entrance exams like NIFT, NID and UCEED. Consider these options as well.


2. BA-LLB

After Arts, there is also the option of doing a 5-year integrated program of BA LLB. If you are interested in making a career in the field of law, then this can prove to be a better option for you. This integrated program is run in colleges and universities of most of the major cities of the country. Candidates can also do specialization in Criminal Law or Constitutional Law. For this, you can get admission through entrance exam like CLAT, AILET, LSAT India. The BA-LLB program is different from other LLB programs. It is a combination of BA and LLB. This program has been prepared by combining two courses, hence it is called Integrated Program.

Every year, entrance tests are conducted for admission to the integrated program of BA LLB, successful in this you can get admission.


3. BA in Hospitality and Travel

If you are fond of traveling and traveling, if you are aware of new places, then you can do BA from Travel. Apart from this, hospitality studies are also done in it. Therefore, under this program, a student has the option of specialization in Hospitality Management, Travel & Tourism, Culinary Arts, Fair & Ticketing, which you choose according to your interest. One can get entry in this course through entrance exams like IIHM and eCHAT.


4. Diploma in Education

Diploma in Education i.e. D.Ed is an undergraduate program. If you consider yourself fit to go into teaching profession then you can apply for D.Ed. By doing D.Ed you can get opportunities in educational institutes. Ed qualified teachers are in demand in most of the private schools, so you can look into it.


5. BCA (IT & Software)

If you are attracted to things related to technology, then BCA can be done. There are many colleges in the country which consider Maths compulsory in 12th for BCA. At the same time, there are some institutes where it is not mandatory to have Maths in 12th to do BCA. Maths is not asked as a compulsory subject in many institutes including Christ University Bangalore, Sikkim Manipal University and St Xavier's College, Jaipur.
