All India Common Entrance Examination is conducted by Veterinary Council of India for Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry. Veterinary Council of India is an organization recognized by the Government of India. The duration of this course is five years which includes six months internship. Candidates who get 60% marks can take admission in dairy technology course. Apart from this, many places also run management courses in the dairy industry, by enrolling in which one can make a challenging career. After doing diploma, B.Tech or post-graduate course, many employment options open up. Can work as a quality engineer or researcher in any dairy plant.
Major Courses and Programs
- Diploma in Dairy Engineering: It is a one year full time course.
- B.Tech in Dairy Technology: It is a four year semester based course. In this course, the student is also given training for one year in the plant located in the institute.
