For this, 25 to 40-year-old Indian citizens must have received a degree or diploma in their arts from a university or institution and/or at least 10 years of initial training in Hindustani classical music. Apart from this, it is also necessary that you have given 2-3 solo performances. Under this one-year fellowship, a grant of a total of one lakh rupees is provided in two phases. Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Scheme
The aim of this scholarship of the Ministry of Culture at the national level is to provide training to talented 10 to 4-year-old children in various cultural fields (Music, Dance, Drama, Painting, Sculpture, Crafts, and Literacy Activity). Under this, 650 scholarships are awarded every year. Initially, this scholarship awarded for two years can be renewed every two years until the student attains the first university degree or attains the age of 20 years. Apart from this, a maximum of Rs 9,000 per year is also given for reimbursement of fees paid for training along with Rs 3,600 per year although the scheme gives priority to those whose monthly income of parents is less than Rs 8,000. This year-long scholarship is awarded by the Culture Foundation. It seeks applications from young artists who wish to contribute to Hindustani classical music and dance art so that they can develop their potential and perfect their skills with the help of the grants given under it. For this, applications must be given at least 2-3 solo performances after receiving some years of formal training in their art field. In this fellowship of ten months duration, a grant of one lakh rupees is awarded in two installments. Also, Fellows are given the facility to seek guidance from a source that is not available to them elsewhere. It is a residency program of at least three months spread over a period of ten months.
