What is required for admission?

Graduation

After doing 10+2 with Science stream, you can do B.Sc in Forensic Science.  There is no common entrance test for this.  So the admission process of every university is different.


post graduation

To do MSc in Forensic Science, it is mandatory to have any three subjects in B.Sc. Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Genetics, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Psychology, Computer Science, Statistics, Forensic Science, Geology.


Forensic science is not just for medical students

Forensic science is commonly known as a specialization option for medical students.  However, along with medical, students from chemistry, biology, physics, engineering, social science, geology, psychology background can also choose this subject in higher education.  After MBBS, where students do PG in Forensic Medicine, after BSc, MSc is done in it.
